In times gone by, the BMW M5 was the obvious choice if you were in the market for a luxurious sports sedan but in more recent years, the Mercedes-AMG E63 has established itself as a thrilling alternative to the Beemer.

The current-generation Mercedes-AMG E63 has been on sale since 2016 and while it underwent a facelift last year, no significant alterations have been made to its powertrain. As such, it features a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 pumping out 563 hp and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque in standard E63 guise and 603 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) in the higher-spec E63 S.

The E-Class featured here just so happens to be this flagship E63 S and stands out thanks to a set of Barracuda Ultralight Series 2.0 wheels that measure 21×9 inches at the front and 21×10.50 inches at the rear.

These wheels were manufactured using the flow forming process and are wrapped in tires measuring 265/30 and 295/25 front and rear respectively. There’s no word on whether or not this E63 S has undergone any other modifications but it does sit noticeably lower than a standard model, suggesting that it has a set of lowering springs.
