One-Off Bronco RTR To Raise Funds To Help Preserve Henry Ford’s Home

The first 2021 Ford Bronco sold for over $1 million at auction and the company is likely hoping for similar results with a one-off Bronco RTR that will be raffled to support Henry Ford’s home in Dearborn, Michigan.

Based on the four-door Bronco Big Bend, the model has a Shadow Black exterior and unique touches personally designed by Vaughn Gittin, Jr.

Starting outside, the Bronco has been equipped with an RTR grille, rock sliders and a tubular rear bumper. The model also sports special badging, unique graphics showing the Fair Lane site topography, and an RTR tire carrier with a modular accessory mount system.

Other highlights include a soft top and five auxiliary lights. The model also has 17-inch RTR wheels that are wrapped in Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.

The unique styling continues in the cabin as the Bronco has been equipped with two-tone seats and walnut wood trim, which has been sourced from the Fair Lane Estate. The dash also has a hand carved copper plaque made from the roof of Henry Ford’s home.

Other niceties include an 8-inch SYNC4 infotainment system, a six-speaker audio system and a Blizzard Box refrigerator freezer. The winning bidder will also receive a Hi-Lift jack and a 72-hour survival kit.

Motivation is provided by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that produces 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS) and 325 lb-ft (441 Nm) of torque, when running on premium gasoline. It’s connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission and a standard four-wheel drive system.

All proceeds will go to the restoration of the Fair Lane Estate, which is a National Historic Landmark. Pricing starts at $25 for 20 tickets and the winner will be selected on December 20th at Ford’s headquarters in Dearborn.
