The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series is a very impressive car but if we could only own one model from the Black Series family, it would be the SL65 AMG.
Mercedes-Benz showcased the car to the world back in 2008 and despite being well over 10 years old, we think it still looks incredible – and one particularly nice example is up for sale in Miami, Florida by Hemmings.

In creating the SL65 AMG Black Series, Mercedes replaced every exterior body panel except for the doors and wing mirrors. Immediately making the car stand out are the flared front and rear wheel arches which look more akin to those you’d expect to find from an aftermarket tuner rather than something that rolled of an automaker’s assembly line. All up, the SL65 AMG Black Series’ tracks were 4.5-inches wider at the front and 4.1-inches wider at the rear.
This particular example is painted Steel Gray. It is thought that 175 examples of the 350 produced were exported to the U.S. and this car had an original MSRP of $304,350. It has had two owners since new and currently shows 11,200 miles on the clock; it also has an asking price of $397,500.
Powering the SL65 AMG Black Series is a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 with an aluminum block and heads pumping out 661 hp at 5,400 rpm and 738 lb-ft (1000 Nm) of torque from just 2,200 rpm. It can hit 60 mph in roughly 3.6 seconds and continue through to a limited top speed of 199 mph (320 km/h).
