The 2022 Toyota Tundra is generating a lot of buzz, but the smaller Tacoma sells in far greater numbers.
That’s clearly demonstrated by this 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro, which just happens to be the millionth Tacoma ever made.
The truck was built on October 4th, 2019 and features an Army Green exterior as well as black accents that are typical of TRD Pro models. Bidders will also find a heavy duty front skid plate, LED headlights and 16-inch wheels with a black finish. More importantly, the model has a TRD-tuned off-road suspension with 2.5-inch FOX Internal Bypass coil-overs and rear remote reservoir shocks.

While the exterior has a rugged appearance, the cabin comes nicely equipped with heated leather front seats, a wireless smartphone charger and an 8-inch infotainment system with GPS navigation as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. Other highlights include a leather-wrapped tilt/telescopic steering wheel, a dual-zone climate control system and a power moonroof.
The truck has only been driven 158 miles (254 km) and features a 3.5-liter V6 engine that develops 278 hp (207 kW / 282 PS) and 265 lb-ft (359 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a six-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system.
The millionth Tacoma will be auctioned by Mecum in August and it comes with documentation including a letter of congratulations from Toyota. There’s no auction estimate, but the model will likely go for far more than the 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro, which starts at $44,325 before a $1,095 delivery, processing and handling fee.
