The fourth-generation Toyota Supra has achieved legendary status among petrolheads, making it a sought-after young-timer. Given its popularity, Toyota Gazoo Racing started reproducing spare parts for both the A70 and the A80 generations of the rear-wheel-drive sportscar in 2020.

Today, the company announced an even wider range of parts under the “GR Heritage Parts Project”, bringing smiles to Japanese car collectors all around the world.

The good news is that the genuine parts will be available for sale in Japan, North America, Europe, and other markets, through the Toyota dealer network. Thus you will be able to order a new front bumper for your A80 Supra in exactly the same way you order the equivalent part of your new Yaris or Camry. The only difference is that the GR Heritage Parts will be produced in limited numbers so you have to hurry up before the available stock runs out.

From the 1st of July 2021, you will be able to buy a Clutch master cylinder, a Clutch release cylinder, a Brake hose, a Heater hose, and an Air conditioner control panel knob for the A70, plus an Oxygen sensor for the A80. In August the range will grow with the addition of an enamel front emblem for the A70 (announced in January 2020) and a front bumper cover for the A80. Finally, Toyota Gazoo Racing will reproduce side protection mouldings, Toyota Supra rear emblem, front door garnish, and front suspension lower arm bush for the A70 generation starting in August 2021 or later.

We are sure that the Supra owners will greatly benefit from the reproduction as it will allow them to maintain their cars in pristine condition for longer, without the need of sourcing parts from the used market. It will also help the resale value of the aforementioned vehicles which continues to grow.

Toyota is not the only manufacturer to offer genuine parts for discontinued models. Nissan offers parts for the Skyline GT-R (R32, R33, and R34) since 2018, while Mazda does the same for the MX-5 Miata (NA) and the RX-7 (FC and FD).
