VW has opened the order books for the facelifted Tiguan Allspace in major European markets, offering a more modern design along with space for up to seven passengers.
The revamped Tiguan Allspace benefits from the same visual updates of the shorter Tiguan, which are focused mainly on the front and the rear. The design changes also added 22 mm in the length of the new Tiguan Allspace due to the new bumper styling; interior room remains unchanged over the outgoing model.

The biggest visual differentiation of the updated SUV can be found at the front, where it can now be fitted with the optional LED matrix headlights, together with a thin LED light bar and new indicators with a ‘sweeping’ function, bringing it in line with the latest VW models.
The facelifted Tiguan Allspace is available in three trim levels: Life, Elegance, and R-Line. All three feature more equipment as standard than before. In Germany, the entry-level Life model comes with a new multifunctional leather steering wheel, VW’s ‘Light Assist’ headlight control system, an infotainment system with a 6.5-inch touchscreen display and online services, adaptive cruise control, and the ‘Front Assist’ emergency brake system. Elegance models can be distinguished from their exterior and interior chrome detailing and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Customers who wish for a more sporty appearance can opt for the R-Line trim level, which features a sports steering wheel with touch controls, Carbon Grey inserts, the ‘Digital Cockpit Pro’ instrument cluster, and 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels. The new Tiguan Allspace R-Line can also be optioned with the ‘Black Style’ design package for an even sportier look.
The German SUV is available with three petrol and two diesel options in Europe. The petrol lineup includes the 148 HP 1.5-liter TSI and the 2.0-liter TSI with either 187 HP or 242 HP. The new Tiguan Allspace with the 2.0-liter TSI engines also features the 4Motion all-wheel-drive system as standard. Those wanting a diesel will have to choose the 2.0-liter TDI unit, which is available with either 148 HP or 197 HP.
Prices for the facelifted VW Tiguan Allspace start from 36,230 euros ($44,345) for the 1.5-liter TSI with a manual transmission in Germany.
