Tesla’s controversial yoke steering wheel has come back into the public eye after the recent Model S Plaid delivery event. Love it or hate it, the wheel has already garnered so much attention to the point that there is now an aftermarket solution to add something similar to your Model 3 or Model Y.

To clarify, neither of those cars will be offered with the yoke from factory, only the Model S and Model X will have it. And frankly that makes sense, as arguably the only real benefit of the yoke is better visibility of a gauge cluster, something neither the 3 nor the Y have. However, if you still want a yoke for your Model 3 or Y, a company called Hansshow has you covered.

In a video by i1Tesla, the host explains that the wheel is a replica of the one found in the Model S/X that uses the framework from a Model 3‘s. On top of that, they have options like genuine carbon fiber and Alcantara to personalize it even further. On the plus side, the original wheel apparently doesn’t need to be sent out to the company in exchange for the new one, so you can still put it back on if you decide that the yoke is not to your liking after all.

The install isn’t too labor-intensive, with just a few bolts and the airbag to undo, and after it’s done we get to see i1Tesla take his Model Y out on the road with the new wheel. As he’s driving around it seems a bit cumbersome to us, but he says it’s easy to use. You can decide for yourself by watching the video below.
