Hot on the heels of the 2022 Genesis G70 landing on U.S. shores, buyers can now purchase the sports sedan with a $1,000 discount.
It has recently been revealed that Genesis is offering a $1,000 Retailer Choice Bonus Cash incentive for the new G70 and while that sounds very nice, it is actually only available with a 2.9 per cent annual percentage rate (APR) loan of up to 60 months. However, Cars Direct reports that dealers can mark-up this rate by 1 per cent should they choose.

For those who aren’t tempted by this offer, Genesis has also announced a $4,000 discount for the pre-facelift 2021 G70. When you consider that the 2022 G70 doesn’t benefit from any significant mechanical upgrades over the 2021 and is mainly limited to revised front and rear fascias and a minutely tweaked interior, this does make the deal offered for 2021 models particularly tempting.
For those with their heart set on the new G70, it can be leased for $489 per month for 36 months with $3,599 due at signing in 3.3T A/T Standard RWD guise. For those who prefer to purchase a car upfront, the 2022 G70 range starts at $37,525 for the entry-level 2.0T A/T Standard RWD and topping out at $43,625 for the more luxurious 2.0T A/T Prestige AWD. By comparison, the most expensive 3.3-liter variant is the A/T Launch Edition AWD priced from $54,500 and fitted as standard with 19-inch wheels, a matte paint finish in either Verbier White or Melbourne Gray, and a two-tone Obsidian Black/Sevilla Red interior.
