The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 ended production in 2015 but its influence on the automotive industry continues to be felt and has inspired the creation of this: a six-wheeled Ram 1500 TRX.

This insane pickup truck has been created by Florida’s Apocalypse Manufacturing and has had its bed lengthened to allow for the fitment of a third axle and two additional wheels. These wheels are 18-inch units and are wrapped in 37-inch mud-terrain tires. The Florida company has also affixed a seventh wheel to the bed should you ever need a spare. It remains to be seen if the additional axle fitted by Apocalypse is actually driven and if the truck is a proper 6×6.

The creation is known as the Warlord and for an additional $2,200, customers can order it with 40-inch tires. It can also be equipped with a thermal night vision system for $5,200 and LED underfloor lights for $1,000.

“I am really proud of how our highly-skilled team took on our most ambitious project yet,” Apocalypse Manufacturing owner Joseph Ghattas said in a statement. “This build is as impressive as they come and perfectly aligns with the rest of our Apocalypse catalog of trucks.”

No changes were made to the TRX’s engine, meaning it is still powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 pumping out 702 hp.

For those that don’t know, Apocalypse has been building 6×6 models for a number of years now, including models based on the Jeep Gladiator. Pricing for the TRX-based Warlord starts at a cool $250,000.
