This is the 2021 Geely Binyue Pro and while you may not have heard of it before, it is certainly quite an eye-catching SUV.
The SUV is sold in China and was first launched in 2018. Now updated for the 2021 model year, it has received a thoroughly revised front fascia featuring enlarged side air intakes, a revised grille, tweaked headlights, and an X-shape grey section between the upper and lower grilles that add to the SUV’s aggressive looks. The headlights also now play a welcome sequence when the vehicle is unlocked.
The yellow Binyue Pro featured in these photos features grey accents, sharp rocker panels, red brake calipers, and black wheels. Found at the rear are a pronounced spoiler stretching off from the roof, quad tailpipes, a blacked-out bumper, and a diffuser.

Like the exterior, the interior design of the SUV is also quite striking. There is a flat-bottomed steering wheel and a (new for 2021) enlarged 12.3-inch infotainment screen. The Binyue Pro also features an all-digital instrument cluster. The center console houses a new shifter and incorporates sharp angles and perfectly suits the rest of the SUV’s design. A panoramic sunroof is also featured and Paul Tan notes that there is also an ambient lighting system with 72 colors.
It isn’t yet clear what powertrains the 2021 Binyue Pro will be available with, but the pre-facelift model was powered by either a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 139 hp at 5,200 rpm and 173 lb-ft (235 Nm) of torque between 1,600 and 4,000 rpm or a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder with 177 hp and 188 lb-ft (255 Nm).
