Honda is a pet-friendly automaker, something that’s evident by the Honda Dog range of accessories that are available in Japan. While some of them are quite useful for dog owners, others are just for show but the truth is that paw stickers and wheel center hubs never do any harm.

The designers at Honda thought that a good way to express your love for dogs is to add paws to every single component of your car. Thus, they offer a Pet Knob for the automatic gearbox available in three colors (¥11,000 or $100), Paw stickers made of silicon for the dashboard or interior trim (¥3,850 or $35), and colorful Paw key covers (from ¥4,400 or $40).

For the exterior, they created Paw Center Caps for the alloy wheels which come in two sizes (from ¥7,700 or $70), and a series of tailgate stickers showing to everyone around you that you really are a dog person (from ¥4,400 or $40).

Besides the decorative elements, Honda is also interested in dogs’ well-being. Depending on your pet’s size, there are specially designed seats, protective mats, door lining covers, and seat belts. Pricing ranges from ¥3,300 for a single lease that prevents the dog from jumping out of the car, up to ¥25,300 for a comfortable and waterproof pet seat that accommodates medium-sized dogs and has an integrated window. If you were wondering, all of them are paw-branded.

Honda is not the only automaker offering dog-related accessories, with Skoda and Subaru having their own range of products destined to keep your pets safe during transportation. However, the Japanese company has also launched a special website with useful information for dog owners.
