A gorgeous 2007 RUF RGT painted in Lake Placid Blue Metallic is currently up for auction in Larkspur, Colorado and has already attracted a lot of attention.
The RGT is based on the 997-generation Porsche 911 GT3 and features unique RUF bodywork that includes carbon fiber across the doors, fender flares, wing mirrors, engine cover, and the unique fixed rear wing. The sports car is also fitted with 19-inch OZ Superleggera wheels with RUF center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport tires that measure 235/35 at the front and 345/50 at the rear.

The Bring a Trailer listing states that a set of BS wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires is also included in the sale. In addition, the RGT is fitted with carbon ceramic brake rotors with six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo calipers. RUF also worked its magic on the suspension system, equipped it with new Bilstein gas-filled dampers.
A look inside the cabin reveals black leather adorning the Recaro seats with outer shells painted to match the bodywork. The car also features matching upholstery on the dashboard, doors, console, and steering wheel. Also found within are black carpets and RUF-branded floor mats. There is also a black Alcantara headliner and a roll cage that incorporates a harness bar anchoring six-point harnesses for the driver and passenger.
Powering the RUF RGT is a modified version of the GT3’s six-cylinder engine with larger-bore cylinders and Mahle pistons that increase the displacement to 3.8-liters. It also has titanium connecting rods, a balanced steel crankshaft, high-lift camshafts, a single-mass flywheel, and a unique Bosch Motronic ECU. This engine was good for 445 hp and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) from the factory and is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission powering the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential.
