Lamborghini had a strong presence at the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend, bringing with it some of its most impressive models.
Making its public debut at the event was the Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae, introduced as the final iteration of the Aventador before the decade-old supercar is retired and replaced. Lamborghini will build 600 examples of the Ultimae, consisting of 350 coupes and 250 roadsters.

Powering the car is the Aventador’s beloved 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12, although it has been tweaked to produce 770 hp and 531 lb-ft (720 Nm) of torque. Mated to this almighty engine is a seven-speed single-clutch automated manual transmission sending power through all four wheels, allowing the car to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and a 221 mph (355 km/h) top speed.
The Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 was also a star of the event and made a host of high-speed runs up the famous hillclimb. While Lamborghini unveiled the car a few months ago, it actually brought along a camouflaged prototype of the track-only beast. Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse division also took to the hillclimb in the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 that has an incredibly bold design fitting of a Batman movie.
Attendees at Goodwood were also treated to the hardcore Huracan Super Trofeo Omologata (STO), recently introduced as the ultimate road-going version of the beloved V10-powered supercar. A Huracan Evo and Urus were also featured in the Supercar Paddock and were driven up the hillclimb.
