The Ferrari SF90 Stradale might not be a La Ferrari successor, but it is the fastest and most expensive series-production model you can buy from Maranello right now. If the hypercar-rivaling performance, looks, and driving dynamics of the SF90 are not enough for you, there is now the option for an upgrade thanks to Novitec.

As the German tuner admits this is only the beginning for the SF90 as in the near future they will offer more options for added performance and aggression.

Starting with the powertrain, the SF90 is fitted with a mid-mounted twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors. While not messing up with the 217 hp (162 kW / 220 PS) coming from the tri-motor setup, Novitec gives a power boost to the combustion engine. More specifically, thanks to the addition of a performance exhaust system and 100-cell metal catalysts, the V8’s output increases to 802 hp (598 kW / 813 hp) up from the stock 769 hp (574 kW / 780 PS).

As a result, the Novitec SF90 produces a combined 1,019 hp (760 kW / 1,033 PS) at 7,750 rpm and 858 Nm (632.8 ft-lb) of torque at 6,100 rpm. This makes it +19 hp (25 kW / 33 PS) more powerful and gives it an additional +58 Nm (42.8 lb-ft) of torque compared to the stock version. These might not sound like much, but Novitec says it has benefits in performance and promised it will come back with more significant upgrades in the future. Although the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time remains stable at 2.5 seconds, the top speed now exceeds the stock 340 km/h (211 mph).

Design-wise, Novitec took the easy road of only changing the wheels of the already beautiful SF90. The ten-spoke forged NS 10 wheels by Vossen presented here in “Bronzino” hue, are available in 72 (!) different colors. They are shod in mixed tires measuring 255/35 ZR 20 at the front and 325/35 R 21 at the rear. In the near future, Novitec will also offer design details from carbon fiber replacing hard plastic.

We have to admit that the SF90 looks menacing in black and Novitec’s wheels complement the looks without looking aftermarket. The interior can also be further refined with the addition of Alcantara and leather in any desired color, according to each customer’s preferences.

As you can tell from the pictures, the car sits closer to the ground thanks to Novitec’s new sport springs. Suspension is lowered by 30 mm at the front and by 25 at the rear axle giving the SF90 an even more aggressive stance.

At the back, the new, lighter, and considerably louder exhaust system has dual stainless tailpipes with a diameter of 112 mm featuring carbon embellishers. Optionally available for the exhaust is the Inconel F1-derived and ultra-lightweight material, as well as electronically-controlled active flaps. There is also an optional 999 fine-gold plating for better heat dissipation and added coolness.
