German tuner Posaidon revealed a series of tuning packages for the Mercedes-AMG S63, bringing up to 927 hp of power to the previous generation S-Class limousine.
Design-wise, the S63 was already fitted with an aggressive AMG body kit right from the factory, so Posaidon decided to go for a sleeper look. The only change is the ground clearance thanks to an electronic lowering module for the standard air suspension. The pictured example is a long-wheelbase Mercedes-AMG S63 4MATIC+ variant which is still the ultimate performance limousine – at least until the arrival of the next-generation hybrid model.

Under the bonnet of the facelifted S63 (W222) lies a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that’s also found in other AMG models like the E 63 S. In stock form, the unit produces 612 hp (456 kW / 620 PS) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels (4MATIC+) through a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The entry-level RS 830 package from Posaidon includes upgraded ball-bearing turbochargers, a sports air filter, new downpipes with sports catalytic converters, and of course new software for engine and transmission. Thanks to all that, the engine produces 818 hp (610 kW / 830 PS) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque.
For those who want even more, there is the medium-level RS 830+ bringing 868 hp (647 kW / 880 PS) of power and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque. The 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint is completed in 3.2 seconds while top speed is 350 km/h (218 mph).
Finally, the flagship RS 830+ (confusingly it has the same name as the previous package) adds modified cylinder heads and valve seats, plus a new water/methanol injection system to the upgrades listed above. This increases power further to an impressive 927 hp (691 kW / 940 PS) and torque to an unbelievable 1,280 Nm (944 ft-lb). In this case, the top speed exceeds the 350 km/h (218 mph) mark, leaving almost everyone in the Autobahn behind you.

If you don’t want to mess up with the hardware, Posaidon is also offering the software upgrades as a standalone package, allowing the V8 to produce 697 hp (520 kW / 707 PS) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft).
