An awesome Porsche 911 SC that has been converted into a safari special is up for sale through Bring a Trailer.
This 911 SC spent most of its life just like any other but earlier this year, it was converted into a safari-style car thanks to Mayo Performance Specialties of Euless in Texas. As part of the upgrades, the car was fitted with a rally-lamp pod from TRE Motorsports, a stainless-steel roof rack with mahogany wood slats, and 15-nch phone-dial wheels wrapped in General Grabber AT² tires.

In addition, the listing reveals that Mayo Performance Specialties also fitted a Torsion Bar Safari Stage 1 package from Elephant Racing that provides 2-inches of lift and adds torsion bars, Von shocks, de-cambered ball joints, a bump-steer kit, and front struts with lowered spindles. The exterior of the car is finished in the original Quartz Grey Metallic which suits the safari conversion absolutely perfectly.
Found in the cabin of the sports car are bucket seats clad in gray with matching door panels and carpeting, a black dash pad, and woven floor mats. Key features include air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, and a rear-window defogger. There is also an Alpine CD stereo and a three-spoke Momo Prototipo steering wheel.
Powering the 911 SC is a 3.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six featuring Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and producing 172 hp and 175 lb-ft (237 Nm) of torque when it was new. The car has been equipped with a Dansk stainless-steel bypass pipe and a stainless-steel muffler. It has 132,000 miles (~212,000 km) under its belt.
