Gorilla Glass isn’t just for smartphones as Jeep Performance Parts has officially announced plans to offer rugged windshields for the Gladiator and Wrangler.
The replacement windshield uses the same chemical-strengthening technology as smartphone screens and feature an “ultra-thin Gorilla Glass inner ply with a 52% thicker outer ply.” Jeep says this makes the windshield lightweight, while also providing it with “superior resistance to chips, cracks and fractures.”
Despite this, they’re only covered by a two-year unlimited-mile warranty. That’s not great, but Jeep noted Gorilla Glass windshields retain the same Easter eggs as the regular windscreen and can be distinguished by “gorilla head artwork.”

According to Mopar’s Mark Bosanac, “Out on the trail or on a daily commute, windshield damage can happen anywhere at any time. Our proven, quality-tested JPP replacement windshields made with Gorilla Glass offer hard-core Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator owners additional protection and a factory warranty.”
The windshields for 2018–2021 Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator models are currently available to order and pricing starts at $793. Additional variants will be offered this summer – for models equipped with options such as forward cameras – and they’ll cost between $820 and $932.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Jeep has teamed up with Corning as the company has been offering Gorilla Glass windshields for 2007-2018 Wranglers (JK). They’re still available and are a bit cheaper than the new windshield as they cost $645.
