It has been a long time coming but the first trailer for the latest installment of The Grand Tour has just been released.
The brief trailer was first released on TikTok and a few hours later, the full trailer was released on YouTube. The episode was filmed in Scotland and is fittingly dubbed The Grand Tour Presents: Lochdown. It was filmed last year at the height of the coronavirus pandemic in the UK.

While it is a shame that the trio couldn’t embark on an epic overseas adventure due to ongoing travel restrictions, the episode could invoke memories of the old days of Top Gear where many of the most entertaining segments were filmed in the UK. In this episode, Jeremy Clarkson drives a Lincoln Continental Mark V, James May finds himself behind the wheel of a Cadillac Coupe DeVille, while Richard Hammond pilots a Buick Riviera.
In the trailer, the trio can be seen getting up to all kinds of antics, including towing (and destroying) three caravans, attempting to build a temporary bridge across loch where May gets stuck, and making various modifications to their cars. At one stage, Jeremy Clarkson is seen hopelessly trying to repair his Lincoln while Hammond and May watch on, laughing at his inability to do any kind of manual labor.
The Grand Tour Presents: Lochdown will land on Amazon Prime on July 30.
