John Cena may be best known as a professional wrestler and movie star but he is also a proper car enthusiast and a few years ago, even hosted his own car review show on YouTube dubbed ‘Auto Geek.’ Fast forward to 2021 and he is one of the stars of F9 and recently teamed up with Drive Tribe to roast some of the cars owned by James May.
The first car of May’s that Cena gets the chance to look at is his Tesla Model S 100D Long Range. The movie star is quite complimentary of the EV even though he is best known for driving (and owning) powerful ICE vehicles, including his infamous Ford GT.

Drive Tribe then shows Cena an image of May’s Ferrari 458 Speciale, the most valuable car in his collection. Cena appears to be a big fan of the car but doesn’t seem to be won over by the orange paint, suggesting it is more of a McLaren color than a Ferrari color. He also likes the gold wheels, saying they would also suit an older Lamborghini model.
Cena isn’t so impressed with May’s 2021 Toyota Mirai, however, admitting that he isn’t familiar with the hydrogen car and adds that because it is a four-door sedan, it doesn’t have much curb appeal. The final two cars featured are May’s Porsche 911 Carrera S and his VW Beetle Beach Buggy. Cena appears to love both of them, later stating that if one of them could feature in a future Fast and Furious film, it would be a modified Beetle Beach Buggy with missiles launching out of the roll bars.
