On November 9, Forza Horizon 5 will be launched, but before that happens, an eight-minute video showing the opening scenes of the game has been released.
Initially, gamers will be dropped from a helicopter in a Ford Bronco and immediately race down from the top of a volcano through the dirt and snow. It looks very exciting and the Bronco’s off-road credentials can be tested with some epic jumps.
In the second section of the opening sequence, gamers race a widebody C8 Corvette through some country roads through Mexico before hitting the dirt and even having to drive through a treacherous dust storm. Developers of the game are particularly proud that it features 11 different biomes and multiple seasons so it’s fitting that the third sequence sees gamers testing a Porsche 911 Safari through tropical rain forests.

The fourth and final section of the game’s opener includes the game’s hero car, the Mercedes-AMG Project One, with gamers instructed to race to the Forza festival as quickly as possible.
Like previous iterations of Forza Horizon, the graphics of the game look extraordinary and it looks like it’s gonna be loads of fun.
The map of Mexico is 50 per cent larger than the UK map featured in Forza Horizon 4 and even though a complete list of cars hasn’t been announced, there are more than 600 cars in Forza Horizon 4 and we expect a similar number in the new game.
As mentioned, Forza Horizon 5 will be released on November 9 and available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Windows 10. Gamers who purchase the Premium Edition will get early access on November 5.
