If a standard C8 Corvette just isn’t enough for you, then Lingenfelter’s latest creation could be right up your alley. The car is dubbed the 60th Anniversary Cunningham C8 Corvette and has been built to commemorate the No.3 Corvette that won its class at the 1960 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Various changes have been made to the exterior of the car, starting off with the front end where there are red accents and dark blue racing stripes. Each of the 60 examples bound for production is based on 3LT trim package C8s and also includes the available aero package with a pronounced front splitter and side skirt flics.

Elsewhere, the car has been equipped with an intriguing set of HRE forged wheels and also has small air intakes/snorkels on the rear quarter panels (which we hope are functional). Rounding out the visual changes is a large swan-neck rear wing with a ‘3’ on the endplates as a nod to the 1960 Le Man’s race car. The Lingenfelter 60th Anniversary Cunningham C8 Corvette also has a host of unique badges.

In terms of performance, Lingenfelter has fitted a new carbon fiber intake manifold, Corsa headers, and a new exhaust system. The car also has an upgraded 95 mm throttle body and upgraded Alcon / RB brakes at both the front and the rear. All up, Lingenfelter’s creation produces 600 hp, an impressive jump over the 495 hp of a standard C8 Corvette Stingray.

Some minor interior tweaks have been made, including Cunningham-branded seats and unique side sills.

Each of the 60 examples being built carries a starting price of $159,995.
