Exactly three years after the debut of the Lynk & Co 03 at the Chengdu Motor Show, the company revealed the sportiest variant called the 03+ Cyan Edition which will be offered exclusively in China. The special edition of the premium sedan was created to celebrate Cyan Racing’s three Wolrd Titles in the FIA WTCC from 2019 to 2020.

The 03+ Cyan Edition looks like the production version of the 03 Cyan Concept which debuted in 2019. While the exterior design has been toned down a bit, the sporty bodykit still looks like it came from the racetrack – even without the wide fenders of the prototype.
The cyan exterior shade is contrasting the black and carbon-fiber components, with the yellow brake calipers completing the boy racer looks.

Besides the obviously large rear wing that can be adjusted to the desired angle, the special edition comes with unique diameter rims shod in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, Akebono brakes, and adjustable Bilstein dampers. Inside, we find black upholstery combined with yellow accents, plus a set of beautiful Cyan-branded sports seats for the driver and the front passenger.
As a reminder, Lynk & Co 03 which is the company’s best-selling model in China, is sharing the CMA platform with the Volvo XC40 and the Polestar 2. The special edition is fitted with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine producing 261 hp (195 kW / 265 PS) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque which is slightly more potent than the regular Lynk & Co 03+, matching the 05+ coupe-SUV. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission allowing for a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.7 seconds.

Although respectable, those figures sound less impressive when compared to the 528hp (394 kW / 535 PS) and 504Nm (371lb-ft) of the Lynk & Co 03 Cyan Concept. This one could accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.4 seconds and could definitely make up for a solid BMW M3, Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, Mercedes-AMG C 63 S, and Audi RS 4 competitor.
Lynk & Co didn’t announce pricing for the 03+ Cyan Edition but we guess it will be more expensive than the regular 03+ which starts from 185,800 Yuan ($28,732) in China. Like the aforementioned model, the special edition won’t be exported, remaining a China-only afair.
