In a bizarre incident that happened in the U.S., a man on the side of a Los Angeles highway hurled a metal rod at an oncoming vehicle.
The video begins normally with the dashcam car just driving down the highway. It then slows down, and we see a man appear on the sidewalk next to the road. As the car gets closer, the man throws a large metal road at the car, piercing and subsequently shattering the windshield. After that, you can see the man run off in the video’s rear-facing footage.

Unlike other such incidents we’ve encountered, where people would drop something off an overpass hoping it would randomly strike a vehicle, this man was on the side of the road, meaning he actually aimed the rod at the car.
According to the original poster on Reddit, it was his mother and sister who were in the front seats, and incredibly, while the the rod entered from the corner of the windshield, it didn’t hit either of them. Instead, it apparently went between the front seats, striking the rear ones with enough force to significantly damage them.
