McLaren will celebrate its 10th anniversary in the North American market with a significant presence during the Monterey Car Week.

Kicking things off will be the North American debut of the hybrid McLaren Artura set to feature at the Road and Track Clubhouse during The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering on August 13. The Artura replaces the Sport Series range of models and is McLaren’s first-ever series-production high-performance hybrid. It will also be displayed on the Pebble Beach Concept Car Lawn on August 15.

Elsewhere during the week, the Elva will feature during the McLaren Owners Club rally while on Friday evening, Gooding & Company will auction off a stunning 1995 McLaren F1. The F1 in question is chassis 029 and has spent most of its life hidden away in a Japanese collection. It has been driven less than 390 km (243 miles) since leaving the factory and remains in pristine condition.

The exterior of the F1 is clad in a unique color dubbed Creighton Brown, named after McLaren’s commercial director during the F1’s development and production run. The car’s cabin is a mixture of Light Tan and Dark Brown leather and it will be sold with the original service book, owner’s manual, FACOM tool chest, titanium tool kit, fitted luggage, TAG Heuer watch, and the ‘Driving Ambition’ book that each F1 was delivered with. Gooding & Company expects the car to sell for in excess of $15 million.
