A 2001 Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 has hit the used car market and has all the makings of a future classic.
This particular Diablo VT 6.0 is finished in a color dubbed Monterey Blue and was acquired by the seller from a dealership in 2016. It has 19,000 miles (~30,500 km) on the clock and is being sold through Bring a Trailer with a clean Carfax report and a clean Missouri title in the seller’s name.

The VT 6.0 was the final iteration of the Diablo and all of its exterior body panels, excluding the roof and doors, are made from carbon fiber. It sits on unique OZ monoblock magnesium alloy wheels wrapped in 235/35ZR18 front and 335/30ZR18 rear tires. It also features huge 365 mm front brake rotors and 335 mm rotors out back. These new rotors were fitted in December 2020 along with new hoses and front cooling ducts.
Found within the cabin of the car is Crema leather upholstery across the bucket seats, door panels, and dashboard. There is also a smattering of carbon fiber accents found throughout and the owner has equipped the supercar with an aftermarket sound system and a Bluetooth-compatible Sony head unit.
Powering the Diablo VT 6.0 is a 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 churning out 543 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. This engine is coupled to a five-speed manual transaxle sending power to all four wheels courtesy of a viscous coupling and two limited-slip differentials.
When it was launched, the Diablo VT 6.0 had an MSRP of $274,900. Bidding for this example had already hit $250,000 with eight days left in the auction and looks set to exceed that figure.
