Nissan revealed pricing for the latest version of the Frontier, first shown in February. Available at U.S. dealerships in September, the all-new truck starts at $27,840 for the Frontier S King Cab 4×2.

“The all-new 2022 Frontier builds on Nissan’s six-plus decades of mid-size truck leadership with a bold new exterior, adventure-oriented interior, and the latest driver assistance and connectivity technologies,” said Mike Colleran, senior vice president, Nissan U.S. Marketing and Sales. “It’s an authentic midsize truck with a range of body, drivetrain, and equipment configurations carefully selected to fit customer needs.”

A full breakdown of pricing follows, but the King Cab is offered in rear-wheel-drive (4×2) and all-wheel-drive (4×4) and in the S and SV trims. Either way, Frontier King Cab buyers get a six-foot bed. The Crew Cabs, meanwhile, are also offered in 4×2 and 4×4 and with S or SV trim.

The Crew Cab, though, can be ordered in either short- or long-wheelbase guise. The shorter wheelbase gets customers a five-foot bed, while the long-wheelbase gets them a six-foot bed. The Crew Cab is also offered in the more off-road-ready PRO-X and the PRO-4X, which is not offered with the long wheelbase.

As for packages, Nissan will offer three: the Premium package will add $2,790 to the price of the SV and the PRO, the convenience package adds $1,990 to the price of the same trims, and the Technology package adds $990 to the prices of the S, the SV, and the PRO. All come with a destination fee of $1,175.

Powered by a 3.8-liter V6, the 2022 Nissan Frontier makes 310 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque through a 9-speed automatic transmission. With rugged new looks, a nicer interior with better connectivity, and five inches of extra length over the old model, Nissan hopes the new Frontier will make an impact in the small truck market.
