It’s hard to believe the Pagani Huayra is already a decade old, but that’s the case and the company will be celebrating its 10th anniversary at Monterey Car Week.
While a number of festivities are planned, the highlight will be the world premiere of the Huayra BC Pacchetto Tempesta.
Developed specifically for the high-performance model, the Pacchetto Tempesta package features a “range of upgrades and solutions aimed at further unleashing the car’s true racing attitude.” Key changes include an aerodynamic body kit that consists of a new front splitter, a carbon fiber rear wing, a central fin and a dedicated air intake. Pagani says the changes maximize the aerodynamic efficiency of the car, while also enhancing its looks.

Besides the aerodynamic changes, the Huayra BC Pacchetto Tempesta features a six tailpipe exhaust system, a new suspension and a “Soft Driving” mode. The company didn’t elaborate, but the name suggests the new driving mode is aimed at increasing comfort.
The changes don’t stop there as Pagani said we can expect “striking interior details.” While they didn’t go into specifics, the Huayra BC already has an impressive cabin so it will be interesting to see what the company has come up with.
On the performance front, the 6.0-liter V12 engine has been upgraded to produce 816 hp (608 kW / 827 PS) and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) of torque. That’s a sizable improvement over the standard model, which boasts 754 hp (562 kW / 764 PS) and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque.
Besides introducing the Huayra BC Pacchetto Tempesta, Pagani will showcase the Huayra, Huayra Roadster BC and key components of the Huayra R. Among the latter are an all-new naturally aspirated V12 engine and a Carbo-Triax HP62 monocoque.
