If you have over $200,000 to spend on a Lamborghini, you could buy a brand new Huracan, but if you want to make a real statement and stand out from the crowd, this 1998 Diablo SV could be the better option.

The car was first registered in Texas before being relocated to California in 1999 prior to the current owner taking possession of it earlier this year. As a 1998 model, this was the final Diablo model to feature pop-up headlights instead of the fixed ones that came with the model’s facelift.

Adorning the exterior of the car is a color dubbed Rosso Luc. Dir. (PPG 41075) that is contrasted by large black SV graphics, a black rear wing, and 18-inch OZ Racing multi-piece wheels. Wrapped around these wheels are 245/35 front and 335/30 rear Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires while braking is provided by drilled rotors and black Brembo calipers. The Bring a Trailer listing notes that the car had a comprehensive engine and transmission-out service in September 2020 that saw new belts, spark plugs, and a Kevlar clutch installed. The valves were also adjusted and the brakes were bled.

A look inside the cabin reveals tan leather across the seats, door panels, and transmission tunnel that has been beautifully maintained over the years.

Power comes courtesy of a 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 with 530 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque. This engine is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission with a gated shifter and a ZF limited-slip differential powering the rear wheels. This Diablo has been driven a touch over 34,000 miles (54,700 km).
