One driver in the U.S. has been caught on security camera almost driving into the cargo area of a US Foods truck.
This video was recently shared to Reddit and shows a US Foods truck pulled over in the right lane of the road. A ramp can be seen extending out from the rear as the truck it was being unloaded at the time.
A few seconds into the video, a dark blue sedan comes into view and slowly drives up the ramp, only coming to a stop after smashing into the rear of the truck. The car’s brake lights don’t seem to light up, indicating that the driver didn’t hit the brakes.

Commenting on the incident, the Reddit user who uploaded the video states that an ambulance, two police cars, a ladder truck, and a fire truck all attended the scene with authorities proceeding to stabilize the car before taking the female driver out. He claims it seemed as though the driver was under the influence of something but this doesn’t appear to have been verified.
It is claimed that the driver said her brakes failed and that she couldn’t slow down any further and had no choice but to drive directly up the ramp. The US Foods truck was stuck for 45 minutes while waiting for the sedan to be towed off the ramp. Due to the low speed of the incident, the truck wasn’t damaged and the car only suffered a few scratches.
