The Lancer Evolution‘s departure back in 2016 was big (and, for petrolheads, sad) news, and to commemorate it, Mitsubishi made a limited amount of special “Final Edition” models as the car’s swan song. Today, one dealership in Ontario, Canada is asking a massive $147,899 CAD ($118,227 USD) for the very last model made for the local market.

The 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition is listed for sale at Baywest Mitsubishi, where it’s shown to have just 99 km (62 miles) on the odometer. It’s one of only 350 Canadian-market Final Editions, as well as one of 3,100 for the entire world.

In fact, the Mitsubishi dealer states it’s the “the VERY LAST Lancer Evolution that was EVER made!! That’s right, this is 350 of 350 as indicated by the number plate in the pictures!”. And if you weren’t already enamored by all those exclamation points, here’s a few more: “This car is completely new and that is not a typo – it really only has been driven 99kms!! This car is pristine and completely brand new. It has been stored every winter in a heated facility or in our showroom!”.

The exterior is painted white, and seeing as this car is a Final Edition, it features a few differences over the regular Lancer Evolution, such as a black roof, “Final Edition” badging on the trunk, and a set of BBS wheels. Other than that, it’s just typical Evo, which is certainly not a bad thing with its distinctive wing, larger intakes, and Brembo brakes with bright red calipers.

The interior is fairly standard, with the only significant changes over the regular Evo being a red contrast stitching and a plaque stating its serial number. The latter brings us to an interesting point, as according to that plaque, this car is number 350 of 350, making it the last Final Edition for Canada. For comparison, the last U.S.-market Final Edition sold for $76,400 USD ($95,582 CAD) and it was brand new, so we’re wondering if the increased exclusivity alone (1 of 350 vs 1 of 1,600) of this example is enough to justify the $41,818 USD ($52,317 CAD) difference in asking price.

Powering the Final Edition is the same tried-and-true 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four from the regular Lancer Evolution GSR, just with a slight power bump, as instead of the normal model’s 291 hp (295 PS / 217 kW) and 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) of torque, it sends 303 hp (307 PS / 226 kW) and 305 lb-ft (414 Nm) to all four wheels through its five-speed manual transmission.
