A semi-truck has been badly damaged after it was hit by a train when it got stuck at a railway crossing in Luling, Texas.
The crash happened at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon and video shows the truck driver towing the massive blade of a wind turbine. Unfortunately for the driver of the truck, they were unable to navigate a right-hand turn across the tracks due to the length of the blade.
Video of the incident shows that the boom gates over the train crossing came down on the semi-truck. Seemingly after noticing that there was a train heading straight towards him, the trucker hits the gas in an attempt to get through the crossing, destroying the boom gates and some of the flashing lights of the crossing.

As the trucker tries to pull through the crossing, the train comes into view and slams into the turbine blade. The force of this impact absolutely destroys the blade and twists the truck itself, flipping it onto its side.
Fox 7 Austin reports that no one was injured in the spectacular wreck but a huge amount of damage was done to the turbine blade and the truck, as well as the engine of the train.
Authorities arrived on scene shortly after the accident. They brought the truck back onto its wheels and closed off the road for many hours while cleaning up and investigating.
