While the new Nissan Z has yet to hit the market, three sets of driving shoes have just been unveiled for the sports car.

The shoes have come to life thanks to a collaboration between Nissan and Negroni, a Japanese lifestyle brand and are said to have been made with the help of Nissan chief product specialist Hiroshi Tamura.

These shoes are based on the pre-existing Idea Corsa kicks from Negroni which is its flagship driver’s footwear. Three distinctive colorways have been developed for the Z-inspired models; yellow with silver, blue with silver, and white with silver. Each of the shoes includes a large Negroni logo on the sides, as well as a small pin with the Z badge.

Motor Trend notes that the Negroni Idea Corsa is made from a unique type of leather designed to mold to the driver’s foot. It even features carbon fiber inserts and has a rounded heel and sole to help drivers perform perfect heel-toe downshifts.

The kicks aren’t cheap. Those who want a pair finished in Ikazuchi Yellow designed to match the Z Proto will need to part ways with around $440 while the white/silver colorway costs $340 and the blue/silver is available from $420.

A number of intriguing car-inspired shoes have hit the market in recent months. In June, Puma unveiled its ION F that takes inspiration from the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. Puma also recently collaborated with Porsche to create eight sets of shoes inspired by the eight generations of the 911 Turbo.
