Fiat unveiled the new 500X Dolcevita a few months ago and now, the soft top-equipped SUV is available to order in the UK market. Pricing starts from £23,975 ($33,071 in current exchange rates) and the first UK deliveries are expected in late 2021.
The 500X Dolcevita is available in the same trim levels as the regular 500X, including the Connect, Cross, and Sport grades. The only difference is the addition of a canvas soft top which provides unlimited headroom to passengers and lets all the sunlight in the cabin – weather permitting of course.
With a touch of a button, the soft top opens in 15 seconds and up to speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h). Customers can choose between three different shades for the top too – black, grey, and red – to combine with the 10 available body colors.
In terms of engine options, the 500X Dolcevita can be ordered with two petrol options driving the front wheels. The entry-level turbocharged 1.0 three-cylinder offers 118 hp (88 kW / 120 PS) and is paired to a manual gearbox, while the more powerful 1.3 Firefly is producing 148 hp (110 kW / 150 PS) and comes exclusively mated to a DCT automatic gearbox.
Connect models come with a 7-inch Uconnect infotainment, black seats, techno-leather steering, fog lights, LED DRLs, blacked-out windows, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The more adventurous Cross trim features a camouflage-patterned center panel and vinyl inserts on the seats, automatic air conditioning, parking sensors, and a set of 19-inch alloy wheels.

Sport models can be distinguished by the more aggressive body kit, black 19-inch alloy wheels, black fabric sports seats with red piping, and matte-titanium dashboard trim.
On-the-road pricing for the 1.0-liter manual model starts from £23,975 ($33,071 in current exchange rates) for the Connect, climbs to £25,775 ($35,564) for the Cross, and tops at £27,275 ($37,634) for the Sport. If you’re after the more powerful Firefly engine, you’ll have to pay £28,275 ($39,012) for the Cross, or £29,775 ($41,082) for the flagship Sport. Those prices make the Dolcevita £4,200 to 4,700 ($5,796-6,485) more expensive than the equivalent grades of the tin-top 500X.
