The Maserati Grecale has been spied again as it edges closer to its November 16th reveal date. The prototype was spotted testing on the city streets of Torino, Italy, adorned in its now familiar blue, stylized camouflage.
The pictured car features large drilled brake discs with accompanying Maserati-inscribed calipers. It also appears to ride marginally lower than some other prototypes we’ve seen on test earlier, suggesting that this could be the range-topping Trofeo variant.
This Grecale also seems to don the same style of 21-inch staggered-width wheels that were recently on offer on a Polish website, which also gave the option of purchasing a front bumper and the steering wheel.

The Grecale, which will fit below the mid-sized Levante SUV, is part of Maserati’s plan to launch ten new or revised models by 2023. It’s based on the same platform as the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Guilia and will be constructed alongside those models at the Cassino plant in Italy.
Maserati’s new SUV model will likely feature an inline four-cylinder engine for the entry-level version and V6 engines with mild-hybrid tech for the higher-performance models. A Ferrari-derived V8 as featured in previous big-power Maseratis would be unlikely, as the brand looks to phase this particular engine out.
Maserati announced that the Grecale would be offered in GT, Modena, and Trofeo guises, with the latter, possibly featuring the same 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 as the Stelvio Quadrifoglio, potentially making a hefty 503 hp (510 PS / 375 kW) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque.
While the Grecale will be released on the 16th of November, it’s not clear if the Trofeo version will make an appearance too. In addition to ICE and hybrid options, Maserati has already confirmed plans for an electric variant that will wear the Folgore moniker.
