Hyundai produces some great cars but here’s something you probably didn’t know: it also produces loads of electronics and has just launched its new Mini PC line.
As its name implies, this device is tiny, measuring just 6.47-inches long, 5.31-inches wide, a 1.25-inches high, meaning it isn’t much bigger than an old-school portable hard drive from ten years ago. Shoppers shouldn’t expect the Mini PC to deliver the kind of processing power to easily edit 4K video and play high-definition games but it could prove useful for those who are looking for a compact PC that can handle most everyday tasks.

Toms Hardware notes that the new Mini PC from Hyundai features an Intel Celeron N4020 processor usually found in inexpensive notebooks. This is a 6-watt chip and has two cores, two threads, 2.8 GHz, up to 8GM of RAM, and UHD Graphics 600. It is also passively cooled, perfect for a PC of this size. Entry-level variants have 4GM RAM and 64 GB of storage.
The Mini PC also features HDMI and VGA sockets, two USB 2, two USB 3, and a single Type-C, and a Micro SD slot. It comes with Windows 10 Pro and is available to purchase online for $149.
On other Hyundai-related news, the South Korean car manufacturer recently announced that it is continuing to develop hydrogen fuel-cells for its vehicles, while also developing a host of battery-electric vehicles.
