Chevrolet will reportedly send off the current-generation Camaro in 2024 with a special package known as the ‘Collector’s Edition.’
Muscle Cars and Trucks says that Chevrolet will not make any significant upgrades to the sixth-generation Camaro before it is retired. Instead, it will bid farewell to the muscle car with a ‘Collector’s Edition’ package that will be available for the LT, SS, and ZL1 models.

It is understood that just 2,000 examples of the special package will be produced, representing the final 2,000 units of the outgoing Camaro.
Details of the package are limited but it will apparently include unique badging, accents, bodywork, and distinctive stripes. The publication’s sources also assert that it will only be available in Yellow, seemingly as a homage to Bumblebee from Transformers that helped the fifth-generation Camaro become so popular.
The same report asserts that Chevrolet will make a handful of tweaks to the flagship Camaro ZL1, also for the 2024 model year. Chevrolet could tweak the car’s 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine from its current 650 hp up to 668 hp, the figure of the new Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. The 2024 ZL1 could also benefit from the same magnetic ride control system as the CT5-V Blackwing, although Muscle Cars & Trucks isn’t convinced the Camaro team will have the budget to make this happen.
If these reports prove to be accurate, then Camaro enthusiasts shouldn’t expect to see the automaker send off the muscle car with a variant offering even more power than the ZL1. By all accounts, it will remain at the top of the Camaro family until the car is retired at the end of the 2024 model year.
