Having been unveiled way back in 2007, the Nissan GT-R is long in the tooth, but a new study has revealed that it still attracts a lot of attention online.
Driver’s education company Zutobi recently set out to determine which vehicles generate the most discussion online by looking at the number of mentions on Twitter and Instagram and the number of posts on Reddit. The Nissan GT-R took the top spot ahead of the Ford Mustang and Honda Civic.
Zutobi’s analysis revealed that the GT-R was mentioned in 11,771 tweets over the course of a week and has been mentioned in 15,900 posts on Reddit, making it the second most talked-about car on the platform behind the Mazda3. The GT-R is also featured in some 9 million Instagram hashtags.
