Sure, there are a lot of lovely luxury cars out there, but if you’re a certain kind of rich, the ostentatious displays put on by fancy badges are considered gauche. The Sutton VIP LEVC Taxi is the perfect car for such customers.
“While many of our clients seek power, performance, and stand-out style, another portion prefer discreet, unique, customizable luxury,” said Clive Sutton, the company’s founder and CEO. “Our Sutton VIP LEVC Taxi enables the most comfortable, spacious and private journey through the city with extravagant features usually reserved for superyachts and private jets.”
Although it features a plethora of luxury fittings on the inside, from the outside it looks just like any other London black cab. And, indeed, that’s because it starts out life as such.

Sutton then guts it and adds its own flair to the interior. Available with four, three, or even just two seats, the cab gets WiFi and Bluetooth as standard and the two-seater model comes with a fridge.
Leather abounds on the electric-reclining heated rear seats with footrests, which are perfect to help you lean back and gaze at the starlight roof, that runs fiber-optic cable throughout the car’s ceiling.
Owners can specify all manner of customizations, including expected things, like tinted rear windows or a leather-clad divider. Less expected additions include an Xbox or a Playstation video game console and a 20-inch media screen.
Thick pile carpeting, an ambient lighting system, hand-crafted wood veneers, and almost limitless interior color choices help ensure that the passengers inside the Sutton VIP LEVC Taxi never feel like they’re in a vehicle that the masses could afford to roll around in.
Prices, consequently, are quite high. Starting at £104,680 ($144,732), the model seen here, shown at the Blenheim Palace Salon Prive Concours event in Oxfordshire, U.K. costs a slightly more substantial £121,480 ($167,960).
