Gran Turismo 7 will officially launch on March 4, 2022 after being delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Sony Interactive Entertainment confirmed last week that the game won’t be a PlayStation 5 exclusive but will also be available for the PlayStation 4 as well.
Alongside the announcement of the game’s release date, a trailer has also been released and if it doesn’t get you excited for Gran Turismo 7, we don’t know what will.
The trailer features a number of exciting cars, including the Porsche 917 Living Legend concept. A host of classics are also featured, including the Mercedes-Benz CLK LM, Nissan Skyline GT-R, and the first-generation Honda NSX. Other cars featured throughout the trailer include the Castrol Toyota Supra, Dodge Viper, Mazda MX-5, Renault Sport Clio V6, Porsche 356, and Plymouth XNR.

A key inclusion in Gran Turismo 7 will be a complex dynamic time and weather system that developers created with data sourced from NASA. Gamers will also have access to a customization shop where cars can be maintained, serviced, and modified. A complex livery editor will also be featured, allow you to create the perfect livery for your dream racing car.
The trailer also previews a number of race tracks and cityscapes where you can take photos of your cars.
Gran Turismo 6 was released way back in December 2013 and while it was followed up by Gran Turismo Sport in 2017, it was not as comprehensive. Thus, the Gran Turismo 7, which promises to offer a superior experience, can’t come a moment too soon.
