Jeep has bumped prices for both the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models, just a few months after they were launched.
When the two SUVs hit the market back in July, the 2022 Wagoneer Series II had a starting price of $69,995 including a $2,000 destination charge. That price has now increased to $70,845. Similarly, the starting price of the Grand Wagoneer has jumped from $88,995 up to $89,845.

Cars Direct uncovered the price increase but it is unclear what prompted Jeep to increase prices. However, as the increase only represents about 1% of the starting prices for the SUVs, we don’t think sales will be impacted.
Both the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are powered by V8 engines. In the Wagoneer, this engine takes the form of a 5.7-liter naturally-aspirated engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that produces a total of 392 hp and 404 lb-ft (548 Nm) of torque. Meanwhile, the Grand Wagoneer features a 6.4-liter V8 with 471 hp and 455 lb-ft (617 Nm). Both models pair their V8s to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Wagoneer is available in rear- and all-wheel drive configurations while the Grand Wagoneer is only available with all-wheel drive.
As its name suggests, the Grand Wagoneer is also the more luxurious of the two, helping it to rival the likes of the BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS, and Lincoln Navigator. It receives power-retractable running-boards, a seven-seat layout, individual captain’s chairs for the second row, nicer leather, and more premium wood options. The Grand Wagoneer also features exclusive 24-way power front seats, four-zone climate control, and a premium McIntosh sound system.
