Last year, ahead of the reveal of the new Ford Bronco, the world was introduced to John Bronco, a ’70s pitchman played by Walton Goggins. Today, he’s back for more.
Premiering on Hulu on September 13, “John Bronco Rides Again” is another short comedy film that has been made in support of the new Bronco, though the Ford company appears to be doing little to advertise it. Still played by Goggins, the tag reads that Bronco “is back and ready to get on the saddle again.”
The new film stars Tim Meadows and features cameos by the likes of Michael Chiklis, Brian Austin Green, and Bo Derek.

“Some said I was done. No sparks in my plugs, no giddy in my up, no jitter in my bugs and yet, here I stand, the fire still burning an old man still learning,” says John Bronco in the trailer for the short film. “Buckle up, niños, for this pitchman returning.”
The original film, also produced by Imagine Entertainment and also streaming on Hulu, followed the adventures of John Bronco who “mysteriously disappeared” in 1996 when the Bronco went out of production.
Per the material associated with the original mockumentary, John Bronco was a “rodeo rider, a racing champion, a sex symbol, and the greatest pitchman in history.”
The new film appears to also be full of old footage and classic Broncos to go with the amusing hijinks that will no doubt define it.
