Ken Block is an absolute master of driving on dirt and recently lined up four of his rally cars for a fun little comparison test.

The vehicles featured in this test are Block’s Subaru WRX STI, his Ford Escort Cosworth V2, his wife’s Ford Fiesta R2, and his Gieser Bro’s G6 Trophy Truck. While the trio are all very different, they were put to the test across a short gravel circuit to test out their acceleration, cornering, and braking.

The first car tested his Block’s new WRX STI that pumps out 375 hp and is being raced in the 2021 American Rally Association championship. As you can probably imagine, it is very quick in a straight line and is also very maneuverable, perfect for this kind of test. It sets a best time of 13.7 seconds before Block jumps into the Trophy Truck that churns out an insane 1,100 hp.

Block sets a best time of 15.7 seconds and while he tried to beat that time in two other runs, he couldn’t get any faster. Next up was the Ford Escort Cosworth V2 which, like the WRX STI, pumps out 375 hp. However, it wasn’t driven by Block but by a young rally driver named Jax Redline who set a best time of 14.9 seconds.

Last but not least is the Ford Fiesta R2 which was driven by Block’s wife. As it is front-wheel drive and only pumps out 197 hp, it’s at an obvious disadvantage to the others and finishes off dead last with a best time of 19 seconds.
