Land Rover is celebrating its participation in the latest James Bond film, “No Time To Die,” with a special edition Defender that honors the world’s most famous spy.

Limited to just 300 examples, the Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition is available as either a Defender 110 or 90 and is inspired by the vehicles that appear in the upcoming film. Stealthy in all black, the Bond Edition combines the Extended Black Pack with 22-inch Luna Gloss Black alloy wheels and signature Xenon Blue front brake calipers.

Along with the dark exterior, the SUV also gets a “Defender 007” badge at the back, illuminated treadplates, and a specially developed touchscreen startup animation. Drivers returning to their dark SUV at night will get some help finding it with unique 007 puddle lamp graphics. It will also get a special “One of 300” etching as well as an SV Bespoke logo.

“The Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition is an exclusive take on the most powerful production Defender ever made, inspired by vehicles on-screen in No Time To Die,” said Finbar McFall, Land Rover’s brand director. “It represents a meeting of two great British brands and is a unique celebration of Land Rover’s 38-year association with James Bond.”

Under the hood, it gets an unmodified 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 518 hp (525 PS/386 kW) and 460 lb-ft (625 Nm) of torque which helps the 90 model reach 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds and go on to a top speed of 149 mph (240 km/h).

Along with the Land Rover Defender, two Range Rover Sport SVRs, a Range Rover Classic, and a Land Rover Series III will all appear in the latest film in the James Bond series, which is set to premiere on September 30.
