The Boring Company’s underground loop in Las Vegas was breached by a non-Tesla driving user on June 21st. It was thought to be a prank but goes to show how the loop, which features physical barriers including gates and bollards between the Loop route and public roads, isn’t infallible.

GM’s Massive Chevy Bolt Recall Could Leave Owners With Added Battery Capacity
If you’re a Chevy Bolt owner, the news that your car was being recalled over possible battery fires may not have been a highlight of your EV ownership. However, there may be a silver living yet. Because, according to a warranty communication the replacement battery could give pre-facelift vehicles up to 8 percent more capacity, increasing EPA estimated range of 238 miles (383 km) to 257 miles (414 km). 2023 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 E Performance Lands With 831 HP
Say hello to Mercedes’ most powerful production vehicle (bar the Project One). The long-awaited hybrid super sedan is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine coupled with an electric motor. The electric side of things is strictly for performance, as evidenced by the GT 63 E Performance only having 7.4 miles (12 km) of all-electric range from a 6.1-kWh high-performance battery pack. Combined, it’s enough for 831 hp and more than 1,023 lb-ft (1,400 Nm) of torque. That’s enough for a 0-62 mph (100 km/h) time of just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 196 mph (316 km/h).
Train Smashes Semi-Truck Carrying Massive Wind Turbine Blade
That’s not gone well at all. The last thing you want to get stuck on is a railroad crossing, least of all when a freight train is barreling down on your oversized load. What can only be a monumental error in planning resulted in significant damage, as the train slams into the wind turbine blade, dragging the semi-truck off its wheels. By a miracle, it’s reported that no one was injured.
