BMW has just rolled out its host of M Performance Parts for the new BMW 2-Series, giving the two-door coupe some added personality and flair.
Kicking things off is an extended front splitter made from lightweight carbon fiber. Customers can also order carbon fiber kidney grille surrounds, carbon wing mirror caps, and carbon side skirts. These parts add lots of extra aggression to the car but customers wanting to make an even louder statement can also option a black sticker that runs across the doors. A black sticker can also be applied to the hood.

Modifications continue at the rear of the 2-Series and include a carbon lip spoiler and an aggressive carbon diffuser. Various different wheel options are also available, as are bright red brake calipers.
Some unique interior parts are also available. For example, there are carbon fiber paddle shifters, under-door projection lights, carbon fiber accents across the dashboard, an Alcantara center console lid, carbon fiber-backed bucket seats, unique floor mats, a new gear shifter, and even M Performance door lock indicators. The latter will definitely add at least 5 hp, we all know that.
BMW has yet to release pricing details for its full gambit of M Performance parts but they will likely prove quite popular among buyers. We’re particularly fond of the lip spoiler, diffuser, and black wheel options. The M Performance parts are also slightly more conservative than the particularly bold parts offered for the BMW M4, for example.
For now, the 2-Series range is topped out by the M240i xDrive variant but soon, a new-generation M2 will be released.
