2025 Porsche 718 To Go Electric But Will Be Significantly Lighter Than The Taycan
In what was previewed by the Mission R concept car, the Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster are set to go electric for the 2025 model year. A report from Car and Driver says that the models will be as light as possible and will be RWD as standard with the option of a twin-motor AWD system. The same report adds that the 911 could remain internal combustion-powered into the 2030s.
Caterham’s Lightest Seven Ever Weighs Less Than A Bugatti Chiron’s Engine
Weighing in at 970 lbs (440 kg), the new Caterham Seven 170 is the lightest car the company has ever built. Like the 160 before it, the 170 derives power from a three-cylinder Suzuki engine making 83 hp and 86 lb-ft of torque. The dainty Caterham is bestowed with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time of 6.9 seconds and a 100 mph (160 km/h) top speed.
Tesla Model 3 Ground Clearance Deemed Insufficient For Indian Roads And Speed Bumps
With a stock ground clearance of 5.5 inches (140 mm), the Tesla Model 3 might not have enough height to avoid scraping on the large speed bumps commonly found in India. It may force Tesla first to introduce the Model Y, while they look to raise the Model 3’s ride height by at least 1 inch (25 mm) for the local market.

The 2022 Q50 will be available to purchase later this month, and it comes with a few upgrades over the 2021 model. The Infiniti Q50 Luxe starts at $42,100 and can go up to $55,950 for the more potent Q50 Red Sport 400.

Nissan Canada Auctioning Off GT-R With Unique NFT For At Least $220,000
Nissan Canada is partnering with Toronto artist Alex McLeod to create a unique non-fungible token (NFT) inspired by the GT-R. The NFT will come with a brand new GT-R NISMO Special Edition and a $280,000 CAD ($220,000 USD) reserve price. Nissan says that any money they make over the reserve will be donated to charity.

Commuters were less than impressed as a carriage used in the filing of the latest Mission Impossible film was the cause of a hold-up at one of Derbyshire’s busiest roundabouts. The wrecked carriage was being transported away from filming when it struck the underside of a bridge.
