The Chrysler 300 has been around in second-generation guise since 2011 but it will continue to soldier on through the 2022 model year.
Mopar Insiders reports that production of the current 2021 Chrysler 300 will end in December before the automaker gears up for production of the 2022 model. While details of next year’s model haven’t been announced, a number of run-out parts and options for the 2021 car have been announced, many of which are unlikely to return for 2022.

For example, Chrysler has issued a last call to order the colors of Amethyst and Canyon Sunset. In addition, the available Radar Red and Black Smoke interior colors have also received a last chance to order call as did two equipment packages. This includes the Driver Convenience Group which adds polished aluminum 18-inch wheels, 4-wheel independent suspension, universal garage door opener, front LED fog lights, a remote start system, and a compact spare tire.
The second package is the Chrome Appearance Package, available for Touring and Touring L models. It adds 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, power-heated wing mirrors, chrome moldings, a platinum-finished grille and surround, chrome door mirrors, chrome Chrysler badges, and a compact spare tire.
All 2021 Chrysler 300 vehicles ordered this month are scheduled to be built before the end of December. Mopar Insiders adds that ordering for the 2022 model will open to dealers next month. It will hit the production line in December before landing in dealerships in either late December or early January.
