Drifting champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. is selling his 2018 Ford GT and is set to make a hefty profit on it.
Gittin Jr. was one of the fortunate people given the chance to purchase the new Ford GT and ordered it through Bob Davidson Ford Lincoln of Baltimore, Maryland. It is finished in a special shade dubbed Lead Foot Gray that was a $30,000 option and is also equipped with the $15,000 matte carbon fiber exterior trim package.

The supercar is up for sale through Bring A Trailer and the listing notes that it features an Xpel paint-protection film to protect the bodywork. It sits on forged 20-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires measuring 245/35 at the front and 325/30 at the rear. The sale will also include a set of RTR Aero 5 forged wheels finished in matte black with green accents and a second set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
The interior of the GT features the available ‘Dark Energy’ theme that includes carbon fiber Sparco bucket seats finished in black Alcantara. This Alcantara trim extends across the center console, door sills, and dashboard, while Gittin Jr. also optioned the car with the available six-point harness anchors.
Gittin Jr. only drove a touch over 2,000 miles (~3,200 km) in the GT and had the oil changed at the 450-mile mark. An invoice reveals the car has $61,250 in optional equipment and had an original retail price of $515,200. With five days left in the auction, bidding had already hit $750,000.
