Attendees at the upcoming United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, Scotland will be ferried around by a fleet of electric vehicles from Jaguar Land Rover.
The British car manufacturer has confirmed that it has partnered with the conference to provide a fleet of vehicles to world leaders and delegates attending the event. Included in the fleet will be the all-electric Jaguar I-Pace and all vehicles will be sourced from existing fleets in the UK.

“Jaguar Land Rover is an iconic British brand with a proven track record,” GOP26 President-Designate Alok Sharma said in a statement. “They are showing climate leadership in their field with award-winning electric vehicles, and I am delighted these will be used by world leaders in Glasgow. I look forward to working with Jaguar Land Rover and all our Partners ahead of the summit as we ensure a successful and inclusive COP26.”
Jaguar Land Rover didn’t reveal what other electrified models will be included in the fleet.
“We are delighted to partner with COP26 and provide a fleet of all-electric vehicles, including Jaguar I-PACE performance SUVs, to deliver zero-emission transport at the summit,” added Jaguar Land Rover chief executive Thierry Bolloré.”
Jaguar Land Rover is embarking on an aggressive EV strategy that will help it achieve zero tailpipe emissions by 2036 and secure net zero carbon emissions across its supply chain, products and operations by 2039. As part of this strategy, Jaguar will move upmarket and exclusively produce electric vehicles from 2025.
