Toyota has shared a plethora of new images of the 2022 Land Cruiser 300, showing the off-roader being put to the test along some challenging off-road trails.
The latest-generation Land Cruiser was unveiled a few months ago and has generated a massive amount of hype. In some countries, such as Japan, customers could be waiting years before taking delivery but once you start to understand all the upgrades that have been made to the off-roader, you’ll start to understand just why so many people are excited about it.

One of the variants featured in this gallery is the flagship Land Cruiser GR Sport. This model comes fitted with a unique body kit that includes a redesigned front bumper and grille, 18-inch six-spoke aluminum wheels, black wheel arches and wing mirrors, and a different rear bumper with an aluminum skid plate.
The GR Sport model also features front, center, and rear locking differentials that radically improve its off-roading prowess over the previous-generation model. Toyota has also fitted it with its Electronic-Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (E-KDSS) that automatically and independently adjusts the front and rear stabilizers depending on the forces being encountered by each wheel. This system also vastly improves comfort.
Adding to the impressive credentials of the new Toyota Land Cruiser is the fact that its ladder frame is 20 percent more rigid than before and is also lighter than the underpinnings used by the Land Cruiser 200.
Unfortunately, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 will not be sold in the United States but the next best thing, the Land Cruiser-based Lexus LX, will.
